The Northland Women's Club is proud to support the launch of Everybody Eats Northland, a powerful community initiative that is redefining what it means to dine out.
Launching in partnership with The Gables Osteria & Enoteca in Russell, the event will introduce Northland to the Everybody Eats concept, which transforms quality surplus ingredients into restaurant-quality meals served on a pay-what-you-can basis.
Already operating successfully in other parts of New Zealand, Everybody Eats exists to tackle three major challenges facing communities today:
- Food waste
- Food insecurity
- Social isolation
By creating a welcoming dining experience where everyone sits together and contributes what they can, the initiative promotes dignity, connection, and community.
